This is a great tour for beginner or experienced wine drinkers. Stroll through vineyards, sample superb wines and savour extra-ordinary cuisine while surrounded by the natural beauty of the Annapolis Valley.

The first stop is Blomidon Estate Winery, beautifully situated overlooking the Minas Basin, home to the highest tides in the world. The winery has won national awards and critical acclaim for their Baco Noir, Chardonnay and L’Acadie wines. After a stroll through the vineyards, you’ll be lead through a tasting of these outstanding regional wines.

The next stop is an appetizing one! Fox Hill Cheese House (except Sundays) is a sixth generation family farm where you’ll find something tasty whether it’s specialty cheddar, plain and herbed havarti and gouda, as well as quark and quark dips. You’ll learn about the production process and try some of the delectable cheeses.

Next, visit the superb Domaine de Grand Pre Winery with its breath-taking views of the Bay of Fundy. Enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds while you tour the vineyard followed by a tasting in the gift shop. A special two course gourmet lunch will be served in the Le Caveau Restaurant or on their vine-covered pergola accompanied by perfectly paired wines, of course! 

Then visit one of Nova Scotia’s newest wineries - Muir Murray Estate Winery, nestled in the heart of wine country. After a tour of the wine cellars and vineyard, why not try a glass of Muir Murray’s luscious Solstice Icewine?

The last stop of the day is the enchanting Tangled Garden where herbs and fruit are transformed into mouth-watering trimmings to enhance simple fare or gourmet meals. Find everything for your table from salsas and jellies to organic herb vinegars and liqueurs! Stroll through the garden where the ingredients are hand-picked or walk the wildflower labyrinth overlooking the Minas Basin.
